Anything with William Shatner in it always raises a cheap laugh and this video showing his reaction to the latest Star Trek movie (which he doesn't appear in, by the way) is no exception. As always, he brings a new layer (or should that be slice) of meaning to the word "hammy".
William Shatner is an excellent actor...just watch Boston Legal and you'll see for yourself...just great, and he doesn't deserve to be mocked...he's wonderful in that series alongside James Spader, who is equally marvellous...GBHs...XXX

Don't get me wrong, Jenny, I don't deny that he has excelled as an actor in recent years. It's just that when it comes to being the butt-of-all-jokes on the internet, William Shatner is second only to David Hasselhoff - the King of the internet.

Yes, he certainly is, but he can take himself off very well...saw him in a film about two fans who met him and that was very amusing...in Star Trek, he was hammy but it was those days when sets looked wooden and hammy acting went hand in glove with hammy stories but never missed any...loved it...
I was so glad to see that he could act very well and I think Boston Legal was one of the best series ever made for TV...covered some incredibly important issues that wouldn't have received an airing otherwise...will miss it greatly...GBHs...XX
