Charlie Chaplin in 'The Idle Class' - one of his short films that I think you can get as an extra if you get 'The Kid' on DVD. Glad this was on Youtube, someone else shares my passion for it.
NB: The note he reads says that his wife is leaving him until he gives up drinking.
Excellent, I haven't seen that one.
I have a fair few classic Chaplin's on dvd. The man was a genius. The scene that always amazes me is the boxing match scene in City Lights where the ref always manages to stay between the 2 boxers. Quite astonishing.

Ha ha that;s hilarious, I just watched that on Youtube, the fight is amazing. The choreography that goes into that is so impressive. Thanks for that, my throat hurts now from trying not to laugh at work. Love the way he confuses the referee into fighting the other bloke.
Stan Laurel does a very good boxing scene too involving a weighted glove and another glowering bruiser. Can't remember the name of the short though.

I prefer Keaton, i just find him funnier.
